This unit examines the physical, social, emotional, spiritual and intellectual  changes that occur as we grow into becoming an adult man or woman.  

The human person grows and thrives within the community of love and life that is called a family.

People by nature are social and cannot live in isolation. We seek out the company of our fellow human beings to share our joys and sorrows.

The years of adolescence are a time of change. Change is normal in life, and helps us to grow.

People grow and thrive when they live in harmony with their nature. Our nature is what it is to be a human being.
